Kiwanis club report

As the end of the school year approaches, it’s a great time to give your sponsoring Kiwanis club a full report of what your K-Kids club has achieved. Attend a Kiwanis club meeting if possible—and make a short presentation on your club’s achievements.  Here is some information to include in your presentation:

  • Service success. Share pictures and stories from the year’s service projects, and tell Kiwanians what the club members have learned from volunteering.
  • Numbers. Show how much sponsorship means by giving the Kiwanians your club report, including the number of students in the club, total dollar amount raised, number of service projects, etc. Highlight the information included in the club’s Annual Achievement Report
  • Invitation. Encourage the Kiwanis club members to come to the last K-Kids meeting or the year-end party.
  • Feedback. Ask the Kiwanis club for ideas on next year’s service projects—and how the two clubs might be more involved with each other.

And don’t forget to thank your sponsoring Kiwanians! Have your club members create thank you cards, and distribute them to the Kiwanians in attendance.
