Congratulations to the K-Kids and Builders Clubs that met this year’s Global Service Project Challenge: the BIG Book Drive! Clubs donated books to all kinds of organizations and groups. For example, nearly 1,200 books were donated in the book drive organized by the Sacred Heart Academy K-Kids in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, U.S. The books were donated to Restoration Day Shelter, the Isabella County Child Advocacy Center, Women’s Aid Service and McLaren Hospital’s pediatric ward.

When adults in Otisville, New York, U.S., voted down the idea of creating a new Minisink Valley public library, Otisville Elementary K-Kids repurposed an old refrigerator into a Little Free Library. They continue to stock it with books raised during the club’s drive.
